About Us

In 1962 Leroy and Evelyn Horning opened Horning’s Furniture in a two-car garage, and over a period of time developed into a 45,000 square-foot show room. But when trying to find a quality crib for her granddaughter, she found that there were very few stores that offered cribs and the choices were very limited. In response to the need, Mrs. Horning opened Rock-A-Bye Baby Furniture in 1990 on Main Street, Palmyra. The business moved to the Route 322, Annville location and merged with Horning’s Furniture in 2005.

High-quality furniture is usually found in expensive, metropolitan stores. We try to carry furniture in various price ranges, but better quality, to suit everyone’s needs. We only buy from responsible manufacturers who consider safety a priority and meet or exceed the safety regulations set by the government.

We offer free delivery within our service area which is provided by our own delivery men, not by an outside company. The cribs can be assembled in the nursery for a small fee.

Soon-To-Be parents often spend several months choosing the perfect nursery furniture and decorations, and then purchase a crib mattress as an afterthought. Mattresses may not be as exciting to buy, but it is one of the most important purchases for your child. A good quality crib mattress will support your babies growing spine and bones for the next 2-5 years. An infant will grow 1/3 of their adult height in just the first year! Plus your infant will spend up to 70% of his or her day on the crib mattress and your toddler up to 50% of his or her day. That is a lot hours spent growing and developing on a mattress!
