Rock-A-Bye Baby Furniture
In 1990, Evelyn Horning opened Rock-A-Bye Baby Furniture to meet the need for quality nursery pieces. It merged with Horning’s Furniture in 2005, continuing to provide families with safe, beautiful options for their little ones.
In 1962, Leroy and Evelyn Horning opened Horning’s Furniture in a humble two-car garage, driven by a passion for craftsmanship and customer service. Over the years, their dedication turned the business into a 45,000 square-foot showroom, known for offering reliable, beautifully made furniture.
In 1990, Evelyn Horning saw another need in the community—quality nursery furniture. While shopping for a crib for her granddaughter, she was surprised by the lack of safe, well-crafted options available locally. Determined to fill that gap, she opened Rock-A-Bye Baby Furniture on Main Street in Palmyra. The store quickly became a trusted source for families looking for safe, stylish nursery pieces. As demand grew, the business moved to Route 322 in Annville and officially merged with Horning’s Furniture in 2005.
Today, we continue Evelyn’s mission by offering a curated selection of nursery and children’s furniture that prioritizes safety, quality, and beauty. Unlike many high-end stores in big cities, we provide options in various price ranges without sacrificing craftsmanship. We work only with responsible manufacturers who meet or exceed all government safety regulations.
We’re also proud to offer free delivery within our service area—handled by our own team, not a third-party company. For added convenience, our staff can assemble cribs directly in your nursery for a small additional fee.
